Missouri Legislators Join Together to Encourage Preservation of KC's Line Creek Forest

Bipartisan Group Encourages Missouri Department of Conservation to Make the Line Creek Forest an Official Missouri Conservation Area


Big news! On June 11, 2019, a bi-partisan group of six Missouri Senators and Representatives encouraged the Missouri Dept. of Conservation (MDC) to make the Line Creek Forest into a MDC public access conservation area.


Here’s an excerpt from their letter: "We respectfully request the Missouri Department of Conservation employ its highest level of experience, skill and expansive resources to cause the creation of the Line Creek Forest as a MDC public conservation area."

This is a major step forward in preserving KC's Line Creek Forest for future generations.
